Product safety GPSR

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) ensures that all products sold in the EU are safe for consumers. Companies, such as Creative Minds Revive b.v., must assess risks, provide clear warnings and instructions and maintain traceability of their products. The following is an overview of how we reduce and maintain risk with our products.

1. Use

Our jewellery is for decorative purposes only. Rings on the fingers, earrings in the holes of your ear, chains around the neck and bracelets on the arm. The use for children under 10 years or for other body parts, is strongly discouraged.

2. Production

Our jewellery is manufactured by Creative Minds Revive b.v.. High-quality materials are used, including precious metals and nickel-free alloys. Our jewellery does not contain any prohibited substances such as cadmium, lead or nickel above the legally permitted limits.

3. Risk assessments

• Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Small parts may be a choking hazard.
• Allergies: Metals and precious metals can cause allergic reactions such as skin rashes Result: itching, rash or swelling. Risk management: Our jewellery is made of 925 Sterling silver, Gold plated gold, gold-plated brass and stainless steel materials. The nickel content (where most allergic reactions occur) is nil.
• Sharp edges or points: Jewellery or other objects with rough edges or flaws can cause cuts or scratches. Consequence: Slight to moderate injuries. All our jewellery is thoroughly checked and professionally ground and polished to avoid sharp or rough surfaces.
• Physical activities: Do not wear during sports, heavy work or other physical exertion to avoid injury or damage to the jewellery.

4. Use and Maintenance

• Avoid contact with chemicals: Cleaning agents, perfumes, cosmetics seawater and chlorinated bathing water can damage the jewellery.
• Clean regularly: Use a soft cloth and special cleaning agents developed to safely clean these metals.
• Store safely: Store jewellery in a jewellery box or separate case to avoid scratches and damage.

6. Compliance and complaint procedure

Any complaints or reports of defects can be addressed to the above contact address. Complaints will be dealt with within 14 days of receiving the complaint

7. Additional warnings

• Ingestion and choking:
  Our jewellery is not suitable for swallowing and may be a choking hazard, especially for children under 3 years old. Keep jewellery out of the reach of young children.
• Sharp or damaged edges:
  Check your jewellery regularly for damage or sharp edges. Stop wearing the jewellery if it shows damage that could cause injury.

8. Legal disclaimer

Although our jewellery is carefully designed and manufactured to ensure a high degree of safety, it is the user's responsibility to follow the safety instructions. Creative Minds Revive b.v. is not liable for any damage, injury or other consequences resulting from improper use, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow the safety instructions.
